ABOUT THE ARTIST

My name is Audrey Soon Kim, and I am currently a student at St. Bede the Venerable. Art has always been my favorite hobby and I have always been passionate about it. I have been attending art classes every week since kindergarten. Last year I attended a college level course at the ArtCenter College of Design that lasted 8 weeks. While I was there I learned more about how to draw the clothed figure. We also had the opportunity to sketch models that came and posed with various objects. In addition to my personal practice, I volunteer a few weeks each summer to help teach younger students about art. I look forward to continuing to pursue art throughout high school. I hope that I will be able to challenge myself and that I’ll explore many more mediums and techniques.
